Arclan can offer specialised HR support to Children’s Services in LAs in the following areas:

• Search and recruitment for senior posts, including hard to fill vacancies (such as Head of PRU, or Headteacher of a school) - we can either manage the whole recruitment process or carry out a search where advertising has not led to an appointment.
• Carry out investigations in disciplinary related matters and provide expert witness support, if required.

Our approach to recruitment is to work with you to clarify your needs and to assist you in developing an appropriate job description and person specification, before taking the post to advert. On your behalf we can manage all communication with potential candidates, and draw up a long list to interview before agreeing with you a final short list. Support and advice for the final selection process is also available or we can manage the entire process for you if required. You will be kept fully briefed of progress through regular feedback. The process will be personally managed by a Director with extensive experience of recruitment and selection at senior levels in LAs and Schools.
