Arclan can offer specialised HR support to schools in the following areas:

• Search and recruitment for Headteacher/deputy posts - we can either manage the whole recruitment process on behalf of governors or carry out a search where advertising has not led to an appointment.

• Carry out investigations for the school in disciplinary related matters.

Our approach to recruitment is to work with you to clarify your needs and to assist you in developing the appropriate and necessary job description and person specification, before taking the post to advert. On your behalf we can manage all communication with potential candidates, and draw up a long list to interview before agreeing with you a final short list; support and advice for the final selection process is also available or we can manage the entire process for you, if required. You will be kept fully briefed of progress through regular feedback. The process will be personally managed by a Director with extensive experience of working at senior levels in LAs and Schools.
